dioctyl phthalate (DOP), chemical formula C24H38O4, is a colorless transparent liquid, commonly used as a plasticizer. It has excellent comprehensive properties, such as low volatility, strong resistance to ultraviolet light, good flexibility, cold resistance and excellent electrical properties. DOP has good compatibility with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), ABS resin, acetate resin and rubber, and is widely used in plastics, rubber, paint and emulsifier industries. As a plasticizer, DOP can effectively improve the softness, cold resistance and processing performance of PVC products, and is used in the manufacture of artificial leather, agricultural films, packaging materials, cables and other products. In addition, DOP also has good electrical properties and can be used to produce electrical products such as wires and cables.
