KİMPUR Successfully Commissioning All RAVAGO Reactors

Kimpur is a leader in the polyurethane industry, and Ravago Petrochemical Inc. has completed the installation of all reactors in its strategic partnership, further strengthening its production infrastructure. Under this collaboration, announced last May, an additional 85,000 tons of capacity was created by the relocation of Ravago's polyurethane machinery park to the Düzce plant in Kimpur. With this investment, Kimpur has taken a major step towards its goal of becoming one of the largest producers in the industry worldwide, with a total production capacity of 280,000 tonnes.

Efficient and automated production model

by integrating the reactors transferred from Lavago, Kimpur has comprehensively strengthened its production infrastructure. In order to ensure uninterrupted production, the infrastructure components of all auxiliary facilities are integrated with each other, a backup system is established, and the process is controlled through automation. This ensures the continuity and operational reliability of the production process, while improving energy efficiency.

As the biggest result of these investments, the facility infrastructure has been strengthened in line with future growth projections and is ready for new investments. In this way, Kimpur has the infrastructure to flexibly increase production capacity according to customer needs.

Kimpur made its first production in January this year using the reactor handed over from Ravago. During this period, the trial production of the sandwich plate system and the refrigerator system was successfully completed. Now, by completing the installation of all reactors, the company has further expanded its infrastructure to support the production of polyester, rigid and flexible polyurethane foam systems and prepolymer groups. These new systems continue to be integrated into Kimpur's production processes, helping to expand its product portfolio.

Kimpur CEO Cavidan Karaca issued the following statement on the matter: "As part of the cooperation with Ravago Petrokimya A.Ş., we have completed the installation of all transfer reactors and successfully integrated them into our production infrastructure. This strategic move gives us a huge advantage and allows us to meet customer needs faster and more flexibly.

The integrated Ravago reactor in our facility has been carefully configured and created a robust system that can meet all future needs. With this investment, we further strengthen our position as the largest polyurethane systems company in the region and will continue to firmly improve our competitiveness in the global market."
