Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates six routes between Vietnam and China, with a total of 40 flights per week.
In order to meet the growing tourism demand between Vietnam and China, Vietnam Airlines has officially opened a direct route from Ho Chi Minh City to Beijing Daxing International Airport, which is considered the largest airport in the world.
According to Vietnam Airlines, the first flight VN516 took off from Ho Chi Minh City at 00:45 (local time) on March 30 and arrived at Daxing International Airport at 06:30 (local time) on the same day. The opposite flight VN517 took off from Daxing at 08:30 a.m. local time and arrived at Xinshan I International Airport at 12:25 that day.
The national carrier will operate five round-trip flights every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday on the new route, using Airbus A321.
With the opening of the route, Vietnam Airlines currently operates six routes between Vietnam and China, with a total of 40 flights per week, connecting major cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
