The scope of application of the provisions of Vietnamese law on the entry, exit, transit and residence of foreigners
According to the Law on Foreigners' Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence in Vietnam, foreigners can apply for entry visas at Vietnam's international border ports.
According to the law, in the following cases, foreign citizens can be issued a Vietnamese visa:
a) Departure from a country where there is no Vietnamese competent authority responsible for issuing visas;
B) Before arriving in Vietnam, they have been to other countries;
c) Participate in Vietnam's international tourism organizations for tourism entry into Vietnam;
d) berthed in the Vietnamese seaport ship, need to pass through other border ports out of Vietnam's foreign crew;
e) Enter Vietnam to attend a relative's funeral or visit a seriously ill relative;
f) To enter Vietnam to participate in emergency rescue, disaster and epidemic prevention and control work or other reasons.
Foreign citizens must hold a valid passport or international travel document and fill in the visa application form at the checkpoint.
14-year-old children and their parents or guardians share a passport, must be with their parents or guardians visa application form together with the declaration.
In addition, Vietnam currently from all countries and regions of the foreign nationals issued e-visa, stay up to 90 days.
Single-entry visas cost $25 and multiple-entry visas cost $50.
