Tata Chemicals: Appoints Rajesh Kamat as Head of Strategy and Corporate Projects and Alok Chandra as Head of Health, Safety and Sustainability

Rajesh Kamat has been with the company for more than six years, having held positions in sales and marketing and strategy.

Tata Chemicals Limited has been internally restructured with Rajesh Kamat being reassigned from his previous position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing to Head of Strategy and Corporate Projects, while Alok Chandra will lead the sustainability function in addition to his role as Head of Health, Safety and Environment. He was appointed Director of Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability.

Rajesh Kamat has been with the company for more than six years, having held positions in sales and marketing and strategy. Prior to joining Tata Chemicals, he has over 23 years of experience working at Larsen & Toubro, Tata Strategic Management Group, Accenture, Britannia Industries Limited and Piramal Enterprises.

Kamat holds a degree in BTech (Chemical Engineering) and has also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)-General Management.

Alok Chandra has been with the Tata Group for more than 13 years. He has joined Tata Chemicals since April 2022 and is responsible for enterprise-level health, safety and environment (HSE), ensuring that the company adheres to the zero-harm philosophy and achieves excellence. Chandra holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and has completed a graduate degree in Environment, a graduate diploma in Industrial Safety and a graduate diploma in Business Analytics-Human Resources.
