The successful completion of the "LOTUS Project" of Aijing Chemical's new factory in Vietnam marks an important step in the company's strategic layout in the Southeast Asian market. The new plant not only improves production capacity, but also integrates advanced technology, aiming to consolidate the market position and lead the industry growth.

Recently, South Korea chemical giant Aijing Chemical announced that its new production plant in Vietnam has been fully completed and put into operation, marking the company's formal extension of its business to Southeast Asia and the global market.

On April 2, Aijing Chemical officially announced that its high-profile "LOTUS Project"-the expansion and new construction of the Vietnamese factory-has been successfully completed and has successfully entered the full-scale production stage. The project is named after the national flower of Vietnam, the lotus, symbolizing prosperity and determination. Back in February 2023, Aijing Chemical launched this ambitious plan to expand its surfactant production capacity and build a new unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) plant.

This modern factory is located in Dong Nai Province, Vietnam, close to the economic center of Ho Chi Minh City. Its unique geographical location provides it with sufficient labor resources and a complete logistics network. With the completion of the new plant, Aijing Chemical plans to increase the annual production of surfactants and UPR to 40,000 tons and 37,000 tons respectively. The new factory is not only equipped with large-scale UPR reaction device, automatic packaging line and automatic storage system, but also integrates a number of cutting-edge technologies to improve production efficiency and product quality.

Aijing Chemical executives said that the establishment of the new plant in Vietnam is a key step for the company to achieve global layout and ensure sustainable growth in the future. A company spokesperson emphasized: "Vietnam is rapidly emerging as an important export hub for domestic companies. We plan to deepen our market influence here and use this as a springboard to enter Southeast Asia and the global market."

Vietnam has shown great growth potential in the field of surfactants and synthetic resins, and AK Vina, a Vietnamese subsidiary of Aijing Chemical, is the only company in the region that can produce surfactants for household products. At the same time, with the vigorous development of upstream industries such as artificial marble and mechanical molding in Vietnam, the UPR market demand continues to rise, with an annual demand of tens of thousands of tons, but most of them still rely on imports. Aijing Chemical is full of confidence: "With our rich experience and advanced technology accumulated in domestic and foreign markets, we will quickly respond to market demand to high quality UPR products to seize market share."
