Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi lays the foundation stone for a compressed biogas (CBG) plant in Yamunanagar, Haryana. The project has an investment of Rs 0.9 billion and is designed to produce more than 2600 tonnes of CBG per year. It is expected to be completed in May 2027.
The plant will utilize waste/biomass sources such as municipal solid waste and cow manure to produce CBG through anaerobic decomposition
